My sister is taking Tramadol 50mg a while ago; but about 2 weeks ago she is having difficulty breathing, I researched online and at several websites say it is a possible side effect. "Tramadol Warnings and Precautions"" I know we need to go to her physician, but however! Have any of you suffered this symptom?
Thank You
Ian

Tramadol
Tramadol is Ultram and yes it can as with any pain medication if not taken as directed , it's not an Opiate is in the same class of drugs as Butabital . Ultram if taken not as prescribed or too much can affect the part of your brain and relax your respitory system it's also very addicting if taken for long periods of time. Mixing Ultram with Alchohol or any other seditives can greatly enhance this and can be fatal. Some of my friends take it as prescribed and it works for them. I know it's less addicting than Vicodin or any Opiates.
